Mission Statement: The mission of Straight Truth.org is to advance ministry in urban areas, and to equip inner city churches and their workers by providing resources, information, and inspiration.

About the Director: Pastor Johnson began his ministry as a Bible worker and a youth pastor conducting Straight Truth evangelistic meetings.  He usually gravitated to the inner-city to minister, and though there were many in these areas that provided the physical needs of the people, he noticed that there were few who declared the Word of God to individuals in their homes.  As Pastor Johnson ministered, he saw the impact that the truths of the Bible had on individuals.  After hearing the story of a Savior, who  came to save sinners, people, by the power of the Holy Spirit, were delivered from all manner of addictions and vices.  He saw individuals and families give themselves entirely to the Lord.  Pastor Johnson experienced first hand the truth of the texts, “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free,” and, “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” (John 8:32, 36)

As Pastor Johnson continued to minister he found that though God used him to make an impact in the community, he would make a greater impact training the Church to do the work of evangelism.  He therefore dedicated Straight Truth Ministries as an equipping ministry.  He has successfully trained Bible Workers through B.O.O.T. Camp (Bible Outreach Official Training), which originated out of the Madison Mission Seventh-day Adventist Church, and continued to train members at the Capitol City Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Pastor Johnson is joined in ministry by his lovely wife Ayanna.  Not only is she the love of his life, but she contributes to the ministry greatly through her spirituality, experience in nutrition and children's ministry.

Straighttruth.org is simply the internet arm of the ministry.  In cooperation with ministers from around the country, this website seeks to advance ministry in urban areas, and to train the members to win their communities to Christ.
